Sight words bingo gives early readers lots of quick, low-pressure practice with the high-frequency words they meet in every book. The starting list holds common words such as the, was, they and there. Replace it with the exact words on your class word wall.
For kindergarten, a 3×3 card with nine words is a manageable first game. First and second graders can move up to 4×4 or 5×5. Choose the Large text size so each word is easy to read, and keep the caller sheet nearby to track which words you've called.

How to make bingo cards
