Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

The short version

  • Bellkit has no accounts and does not collect any student information. If you write to us through the contact form, we receive only what you type there, to reply to you.
  • What you type into a tool, including student names, stays in your own browser.
  • Ads are shown by Google AdSense, which may use cookies. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first.

Who this site is for

Bellkit is made for teachers and other adults. It is not directed at children, and we ask that students do not use it on their own accounts or devices without a teacher.

Information stored in your browser

Each tool saves your inputs, such as word lists, class lists, team names and timer settings, in your browser’s local storage so they are there next time. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else. You can remove it at any time with the tool’s Reset button or by clearing your browser’s site data.

Share links work the same way: the settings are packed into the link itself (after the # sign), which browsers do not send to the website’s server.

Advertising

Bellkit is funded by ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads and measure them, based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google asks for your choice before personalized ads or ad cookies are used. Ads are never placed inside a tool, in the projector view or on printed pages.

Analytics

We may use a privacy-friendly analytics service (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible) that counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

Hosting

Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the page and protect against abuse. We do not use it to identify you.

Your choices

  • Clear your browser data to remove everything a tool has saved.
  • Use your browser’s settings or an ad blocker to block cookies.
  • Change your ad consent choice at any time through the privacy link in the consent message.
